Dominique Ferguson
Lead Teacher, Little Dippers
Ms. Dominique is the Lead Teacher at NASA Goddard Child Development Center in the Milky Way Preschool 3 classroom. With over two decades of experience in early childhood education, she has been nurturing and educating young children since 2000. While she especially loves working with two and three year olds, her expertise spans all age groups, including infants as young as six weeks old.
Ms. Dominique is currently pursuing her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, complementing her role as a Master Mentor and Coach. She is certified in First Aid and CPR and has completed training in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Her strengths include fostering social-emotional growth, building language development, and understanding and meeting children where they are in their unique developmental journeys.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Dominique extends her passion for childcare by working as a nanny and babysitter during her spare time, providing care to children on weekends and afternoons. She goes above and beyond to maintain relationships with families, staying connected even after a child leaves her classroom or the school. She actively participates in children’s social events and activities, attending commitments outside the school to strengthen her parent engagement and build meaningful connections.
