Lead Teachers

Duties include but are not limited to:

Ability to develop and implement Instruction
Ability to support young learners through large group, small group, and individualized lessons
Ability to plan creative, hands-on lessons
Willingness to abide by NAEYC’s code of ethical conduct
Demonstrated basic computer skills
Strong communication skills essential
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum a plus
Experience with Teaching Strategies GOLD a plus

All GCDC employees must:

Undergo a background check, including criminal record checks (FBI and State) and financial disclosures.
Be free from any history of assault charges or substantiated cases of child abuse or neglect.
Be at least 19 years old.
Have successfully earned a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education or a related field.
Provide professional references that can verify work experience.
Submit a current health assessment.
Be eligible to work in the United States.
Strong communication skills essential
Knowledge of Creative Curriculum a plus
Experience with Teaching Strategies GOLD a plus

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field. Rate of Pay: $20 per hour/$41,600 per year.

Typical Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
